III. Purposes of Processing and Legal Basis for Processing
- For the purpose of communicating with users of our website who contact us, we process the following data: name, contact details (phone number, email address), company name, and other data included in emails or provided via the contact form.
- This data is processed in order to respond to users’ inquiries, based on their consent expressed by sending us a message or by ticking the appropriate checkbox in the contact form.
- The personal data collected may also be processed for the purpose of pursuing claims or establishing liability as provided by law. In this case, the legal basis for processing is our legitimate interest, which is the pursuit of claims and defense against third-party claims.
IV. Data Retention Period
- Data processed for the purpose of responding to users’ inquiries is stored for the period necessary to complete the communication related to the submitted question.
- Data processed for the purpose of pursuing claims and defending against claims may be stored for a period of 6 years from the end of the year in which it was collected.
V. Data Recipients
- The recipients of personal data may include our employees and collaborators, our IT service provider, entities providing us with legal, accounting, or HR services, as well as our software and internet service providers.
As a result, it is possible that data may be transferred to a third country. In such cases, we ensure that the transfer will be made either to a country that, according to the European Commission, provides an adequate level of data protection, or to an entity that offers appropriate safeguards, enforceable data subject rights, and effective legal remedies — in particular, by entering into a contract with that entity containing standard data protection clauses.
VI. Rights Related to the Processing of Personal Data
- The data subject has the right to request access to their personal data, as well as its rectification, erasure, or restriction of processing.
- In the case of data processed to respond to an inquiry from a website user, the data subject has the right to withdraw their consent to data processing at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. However, withdrawing consent may result in the inability to receive a response to the submitted question.
- In the case of data processed for the purpose of pursuing or defending against claims, the data subject has the right to object to the processing.
- In any case, the data subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
VII. Voluntary Provision of Data
- The data has been obtained directly from the data subject.
- In the case of a user sending us a question, providing personal data is voluntary, but necessary in order to receive a response to the inquiry.
