Monitoring on Company Premises

Information regarding the processing of personal data of individuals entering or driving onto the premises of OPTIDATA Sp. z o.o.

Required pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), hereinafter “GDPR”;

We have appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO). This is the person you may contact regarding all matters related to the processing of personal data and exercising your rights in connection with the processing. You can contact the DPO in the following ways:

We process your personal data, such as identification data (including name and surname), your image in areas covered by our video surveillance system, and your vehicle registration number (if you drive onto the company premises or into the monitored area), based on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, for purposes arising from our legitimate interests, which include ensuring the safety of persons and property on our premises as well as potentially establishing, pursuing, or defending against claims.

 We will retain your personal data until the above-mentioned legitimate interests cease (30 days), and in the case of potential claims, until the expiration of the limitation period.

Providing your data is voluntary; however, failure to do so will prevent you from entering/driving onto the premises of OPTIDATA Sp. z o.o.

The recipients of the personal data are our employees authorized to process personal data and access your data due to the nature of their assigned duties, entities to whom we have outsourced services related to personal data processing (these entities process data based on data processing agreements concluded with us and according to our instructions), as well as other entities, including courts and authorities, to whom OPTIDATA Sp. z o.o. is required or authorized to disclose your data under the law.

We do not transfer your data outside the EU / European Economic Area (EEA).

Your data will not be subject to automated decision-making, including profiling.

You have the right to:

• access your personal data;
• request rectification or completion of your data;
• request deletion of your data under the circumstances specified in Article 17 of the GDPR;
• request restriction of processing under the circumstances specified in Article 18 of the GDPR;
• lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, which is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych);

You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data that we process based on our legitimate interests.
