With the growth of e-commerce, companies face the challenge of optimizing logistics processes. The Invident WMS system supports order processing, warehouse space management, real-time reporting, and product security. Flexible fulfillment solutions help meet customer demands and increase the efficiency of warehouse operations.

Fulfillment Processes in the Invident WMS

As companies open up to e-commerce sales, the volume of customer orders grows while maintaining lower operational costs, and the company’s market reach expands. The prospect of increasing profits encourages small and medium-sized enterprises to start selling their products online.

However, the entry threshold to logistics processes involving warehouse management is high — fulfilling a growing number of orders requires hiring a sufficient number of qualified employees, and the risk of potential returns and complaints also increases, which further burdens the company’s efficiency. The decision to launch online sales independently becomes a choice mainly accessible to larger companies.

Yet, with the growth of the e-commerce industry, the demand for logistics services is met by companies that open up to fulfillment services, supporting online sales processes at every stage — from order handling to preparation, shipping, and complaints management.

More and more of our clients are choosing to sell their products online or are taking on e-commerce services for their business partners. Based on the increasing demands of our clients, we understand the needs for fulfillment services and continue to develop in this area. Here are some of our solutions:

E-commerce Order Processing

The system is flexible in its approach to order fulfillment, allowing orders to be prepared in real time or for the picking process to be frozen until a predefined time window. After this period, tasks are generated for execution in various modes — either with picking of final pallets/packages or with the possibility of sorting them in later stages of order preparation. The system enables order aggregation by recipients, so the service provider avoids unnecessary use of shipping materials and warehouse space. Shipping labels are customized according to inventory owners — we can meet various requirements set by contractors.

Flexibility in dividing warehouse space between companies

Depending on the key used to divide warehouse space among individual owners, the Invident system allows monitoring of location occupancy and assigning these to companies so as not to block available warehouse space. Algorithms have also been created to track sales of individual clients, allowing our customers to manage changes in storage locations for goods with altered turnover rates.

Real-time reporting of stock levels and order fulfillment status

Every order processed in a warehouse using the Invident WMS system is tracked through status updates reflecting the progress of shipment preparation. This status can be shared with external platforms, enabling updates on package preparation progress and sending this information to the final recipient.

Our system also allows precise sharing of stock data, accounting not only for goods issued but also those physically present in locations but unavailable for release due to reservation for orders.

Competitive advantage of fulfillment implementation with Invident WMS

Processes in our system not only support order fulfillment but also ensure the security of goods in the warehouse. To this end, the system tracks any anomalies within the warehouse and sends alerts about unauthorized movements or increased activity in locations with premium goods. Additionally, we provide flexible reporting tools that meet the requirements of even the most demanding inventory owners.
