We are very pleased to be working with Grupa Kęty S.A. – a leader in the aluminum industry and the largest manufacturer of aluminum profiles and components in Poland. The company operates a production plant in Kęty, which is also the first of its kind in Poland in the extruded products sector. The Group focuses on three distinct business segments and owns its own foundries as well as die and tooling facilities. The company’s production capacity reaches 90,000 tons annually. It is worth noting that Grupa Kęty sells its products in Poland, throughout Europe, and in several countries around the world – with exports accounting for 46% of total sales.
After the successful implementation of the returnable packaging management system at Aluprof S.A. (one of the companies belonging to the Group), Optidata proceeded with the delivery of the TMS system – a comprehensive transport management solution – for Grupa Kęty S.A. The software was implemented at the Group’s Production Plants located in Kęty and Tychy, which are involved in the transportation process. In Kęty, the system is used at the Logistics Center, while in Tychy, it is used at the Warehouse.
The TMS software is designed to support planning, monitoring, settlement, and analysis of transportation processes within distribution structures of any complexity. The TMS FALCON® system enables route optimization and more efficient management of Drivers, vehicle fleets, and Transport Service Providers, effectively minimizing costs. TMS FALCON® also streamlines the selection of means of transport for specific tasks and facilitates delivery planning as well as transportation cost estimation already at the stage of planning Transport Orders.
As part of the implementation of the TMS FALCON® system at Grupa Kęty S.A., all necessary modifications were carried out, logistics processes were standardized, and a data exchange interface was built between the TMS FALCON® system and the Client’s overarching ERP system. The implemented solution offers a wide range of functionalities, which were outlined by the Director of Transport at Grupa Kęty S.A. in his statement:

Thanks to the software, our entire logistics department now has a single, integrated platform for data storage and cost control.
